Designer Siddharth Chandrasekhar’s debut directorial Bale Pandiya is all set to hit the screens on 3rd September and here’s an interesting news about the film. It seems that the film is inspired by Hollywood film I Hired A Contract Killer, which was directed by Aki Kaurismaki. The film revolves around a hopeless youngster, who finds himself unsuccessful in all his ventures. Filled with anxieties, he attempts to commit suicide, which again turns to be abortive.

Finally, he hires a contract killer to murder him at an unspecified time in future. But sooner, the protagonist finds a new lease of life, when he comes across a girl and falls in love with her. When he decides to cancel the contract, he finds himself held in a deplorable scenario as the place, where his meeting with contract killer took place is completely demolished and there is no way he can get in touch with him.

Actor Vishnu of Vennila Kabadi Kulu fame is playing the lead role, while Piaa Bajpai stars opposite him in female lead role. Devan Ekambaram’s songs have already become chartbusters.

Director Siddharth’s debutant upcoming full length entertainer ‘Bale Pandiya’ that has Vishnu and Piya in the lead is all set for the release on September 3rd. Recently the film has completed all its censor formalities and earned clean ‘U’ certificate from the censor board.

The movie is produced by Kalapthi Agoram of AGS Entertainment. Devan Ekambaram has composed the music and it was released recently in to the markets and has been receiving good response in particular the ‘Happy’ song.

While speaking to the media, director Siddharth said “You can say that Bale Pandiya is a wholesome entertainer. There is so much romance, friendship, action and emotions in this film. The hero and the villains took great risks while acting in the stunt scenes.

Produced by Ramesh Babu, this movie was launched way back in 2007. It had its share of difficulties and is finally ready to weave magic on movie buffs. This film will be distributed by Aascar films. Ravi Varman maintains that though Moscowin Kaveri was started three years back, the story is so fresh that it will surely appeal to today’s generation. Music director Micky J meyar has done the great job by giving such a wonderful music…Every song is very sensible and perfect according to the situaition…specially Ilimal Inidhu Sung by Karthik was awesome n Kodi kanam kannil by Naresh iyer is another awesome song which giver superb feel!!!
He was awesome in all types of music such as western,karnatic n Hindustani too!!!He used different types of Instruments for BGM….BMGs are really sensible…u Will surely cry if u really get into the movie n if u really love u r friends!!!so Music is main thing to the success of the movie…Tamil Music DIrectors has got some new competetion!!!
Cinematography is awesome…the way they showded the college through the eye of camera was awesome…n specially in Vazhkai oru vanam pola song!!!it Will take us to different world when combines with music!!!
Editing by Donmax was good…specially in songs…
Art direction was good and appreciable…specially in 1st song where a big flag is hanged down from a big building….

This movie is a must watch regardless even if u have seen Happy days!!!Just go n enjoy with your friends which contains all expressions such as !!!Literally i wasin the theatre for 2 and half hours…but i felt that i was there for four years there,u too experience this… and finally Thank U Chellam sir!!!for giving us such a good movie!!!

Although the script would have sounded promising on paper, it doesn’t come across on screen as convincingly. And it becomes difficult to attribute the flaw to one single aspect, as the execution itself lacks conviction. As a result, the movie ends up looking like a half-baked attempt wandering somewhere between the categories of a serious movie and a commercial entertainer.

Feroz Khan is an underworld don who thrives on illegal businesses, who has an unlikely partner in the City Commissioner Suman. Suman, although is not a bad cop as such, gets a few things done through the don and their friendship is thus cemented in a give-and-take relationship. And when Feroz’s brother Ramana and Suman’s daughter, played by Ashima, fall in love with each other all hell breaks loose.

Feroz is humiliated by Suman when he raises the topic of Ramana – Ashima’s wedding, asking for Ashima’s hand. While Ramana duly returns the humiliation to Suman, a rift appears in the relationship making Feroz realise the gap that exists between their unlikely camaraderie. After this, Feroz gives up all his illegal businesses and begins a fresh life.

In the meantime, Ramana helps Suman rescue Ashima from an extortionist and in the ensuing battle Suman gets a chance to get it even with Feroz for having disgraced him. Encounter provides him the opportunity and what transpires in the end forms the crux of the movie.

The movie has a decent script but if only it hadn’t trailed away to other banalities, it would have sustained the grip and been a better one. Feroz’s histrionics work in some places and he shows he can act while the others range from just passable to above average. Dheena’s music falls short of being hummable but the background score complements the movie’s flow.

On the whole, Vijay R Anand’s script has had the potential for a socially relevant movie that raises a few questions on the thriving world of dons with the assistance of cops and the mysterious encounters. While the movie fails in a few counts, it does score in a few; for instance the acting and performances are not colossally bad. Effectively, Vijay would have to wait for another chance to fix these shortcomings.

Virundali tells the tale of Ishvar (ishvar), a young man living in kariampatti. He is the heir of the periakudumbam their. He lends cash for interest to people and then later along with his friend oli he does mental torture to people to get the money back. But everyone in the village respect him atleast for the sake of his family. He has a father (Nasser) in jail, who has been there for a really long time. He and his mother await his father’s release eagerly. In the meanwhile archana (dhiyana), the daughter of the local village postman (balasingh) returns to the village after finishing her law studies. As we guess they fall in love. Their love can be put into the “modhal la aramichi kadhal la mudiyarthu” catergory. Then there is also this new inspector in town who has an eye on archana and is also constantly looking for a chance to pin down ishwar. From his looks we know he is the bad guy. The plot is ishwar’s best friend arun flees back home from Chennai with a girl whom he is in love with and seeks ishvar’s help to marry her. Ishvar gets them married, his father returns after imprisonment, his love with archana is going strong and all good things happen for a while until few guys try to kidnap arun’s wife. Then arun’s wife has a back story and what happens next is for you to watch.

Ishvar and his friend are good finds but still have a long way to go. Dhiyana has done a fairly good job for a debut film. There are good jokes in the film. The whole film is in flashback mode. The first five minutes builds a little suspense though that doesn’t last for long. Few questions also come up in mind as to why nasser was in jail and why did he come out in the second half. Casting an actor of nasser’s caliber and not using him well is bad. The love parts have been shot well. Music is reasonably good. Though after watching the film we feel whaterman (director) hasn’t given a chance to say “what a man?” at him. All said and done do watch the film. It’s a fairly good entertainer.
