Bangalore, Nov 23 (IANS) Southern actress Jennifer admits being a big fan of Diganth, with whom she has teamed up in Kannada film “Bisile”, but denies dating him.

“All these rumours are unsubstantiated. I’m friendly with all my co-stars and Diganth is no exception. He is a good co-star to work with. We had a blast while shooting for ‘Bisile’,” said Jennifer.

“Diganth is certainly a big romantic star and he will go up with every film. I am a big fan of Diganth. I enjoyed doing this film with Diganth.

“I have done films with big artists like Ravichandran, Upendra, Shivaraj Kumar and with them I had to be little serious and professional. But Diganth was a great co-star to work with,” she said at the audio release function of “Bisile”.

Jennifer also said her appreciation for Diganth shouldn’t be misinterpreted.

“My appreciation for Diganth was genuine and should not mean that I enjoy a special relationship with him. Our chemistry was great during the shooting of the film. Both of us were cracking jokes at each other’s expense. I dont know how to react if such friendly gestures are misinterpreted,” she said.

Jennifer will also be seen in another Kannada film “Eradaneya Hendathi” in which she has teamed up with Nenapirali Prem. Directed by Dinesh Baboo, it is a comedy and stars Anant Nag and Suhasini in special roles.

“It is a full length comedy. Prem is a serious actor and takes lot of interest in his looks, expressions and body language. I found him to be a committed actor. As far as Anant Nag is concerned, I think he is out of the world,” said the actress.

Actress Jennifer Kotwal, who is the latest actress to be linked with Kannada actor Diganth, has dismissed the reports saying she is officially single. The rumours about their secret romance started making rounds after they began the shooting for the movie Bisile. It was reported earlier, Jennifer was dating Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

Now, Diganth is a hot and happening item in Sandalwood rumour mills. During the shooing of Manasaare, he was linked with actress Andrita Ray. He was also said to be romancing Sharmila Mandre on the sets of Swayamwara. Now, it is Jennifer Kotwal.

The actress was earlier had an affair with Mumbai-based businessman boyfriend. But she says, “I’m officially single.” Talking about Diganth, she admits that she can be ‘candid’ with him. She says, “He’s not only smart but very friendly. I’m damn crazy on the sets and he understands my craziness.”

However Jennifer has not accepted any project due to back injury keeping for long time. But she was doing commercials and making public appearances. Occasionally, she was even attending the shoot of the film Bisile, which is expected to release in mid-December. She says, “Now, I’ve recovered from my back injury, I’ll take up as many projects as I can. The shoot of Jogi 2 will begin next year.”

DC Showcase: Jonah Hex English Movie Review

Red Doc, a man that claims he can take on anyone and anything, arrives in town looking for more booze and more actions. Madame Lorraine spots him, and after inviting him upstairs, kills him and has two of her henchmen dispose of the body.

The next day, Jonah Hex arrives in town, looking to pick up a $5000 bounty on Red. After taking on a young man who taunts him, Jonah learns from a bar girl about Madame Lorraine, who goes after the men with money. Paying the girl off, Hex buys drinks for the entire saloon, getting Lorraine’s attention and joining her upstairs. However, Hex manages to avoid her shot and knocks her out, then proceeds to kill her henchmen. Stepping out of the room, he is shot at by the bartender, whom he kills. He then demands that Lorraine tell him where Red is.

Lorraine takes him to an old mine, and shows him a dark hole that leads to a caved in lower shaft. Hex and her journey down, and it is revealed that Lorraine has killed at least fifteen men. Grabbing a knife, Lorraine tries once more to kill Hex, who punches her and secures Red’s body. Lorraine comes to just as Hex has reached the top, kicking down the rope. Lorraine first pleads that they can be partners, then tells Hex he can’t leave her. Hex says she has plenty of companions, then departs. Lorraine trembles as she stares at the dead bodies, the only lamp in the shaft slowly going out, leaving her trapped in the dark.

Chandler police officer, 2 suspects die in Phoenix shootout

Probably all victims of the government insane war on drugs? If the cops were involved in the insane drug war they certainly deserved it because they were depriving these people of their Constitutional right to use and sell drugs.

A Chandler police officer and two criminal suspects were killed in a shootout when an undercover operation went awry in south Phoenix on Wednesday evening.

Two other officers and two suspects were wounded. One of the officers was in critical condition and undergoing emergency surgery Wednesday night.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos said Chandler police were engaged in an undercover operation involving about a dozen officers, including members of the department’s SWAT team, when shooting erupted inside a home in the 2300 block of West Maldonado Road.

Emergency crews were called to the scene, near South 23rd Avenue and Vineyard Road, around 6:45 p.m.

The initial shootout happened on Maldonado, authorities said, though paramedics picked up some wounded people at a nearby address on Darrel Road. Phoenix police said the incident had spilled out into the street.

The names of the dead were not available late Wednesday.

When paramedics arrived, two suspects were dead and three Chandler officers and two other suspects were suffering from gunshot wounds.

The officers were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, where one was pronounced dead a short time later. A second officer was in critical condition and the third in stable condition.

“It’s bad enough when it’s one (police officer shot),” Martos said. “It’s like getting punched in the gut, like getting the air sucked out of you.”

Police would not say where the wounded suspects were taken or what their conditions were.

Two other suspects detained at the scene were being questioned by Phoenix police.

Phoenix homicide detectives and Chandler internal-affairs investigators were expected to spend several hours reconstructing the scene to determine the sequence of events leading up to the shooting.

As of 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Chandler police had not released the names of the dead and wounded and had not issued any statements regarding the nature of the undercover operation or how the shootout developed.

No Phoenix police officers were involved in the operation, Martos said.

Dozens of Chandler police officers gathered at St. Joseph’s to rally around the surviving officers.

Chandler Police Chief Sherry Kiyler said the agency would provide more details Thursday.

The 45-year-old nursing assistant, who also has two grown-up daughters, is said to have been “systematically killing her babies since 1988″.

Her husband Pierre-Marie, 47, a local council handyman, has been questioned but no charges have been made against him for concealing the bodies of the babies, which were all found wrapped in plastic bags.

Mrs Cottrez appeared before an investigating magistrate today where she was charged.

Investigators said she had confessed to killing ten babies.

The first discoveries were made after the new owners of a house in Villers-au-Tertre found human bones in their garden.

They alerted police on Saturday, who found the remains of two children hidden at around their home and garden.

After tracking the previous occupants to another house just half a mile away, they found the bodies of six more children hidden at that property.

Detectives using sniffer dogs said they had so far found a total of eight bodies of newborn babies wrapped in plastic bags at both houses.

According to Le Figaro newspaper, two of the bodies discovered had been hidden in the first house for more than 20 years.

It said: “According to police sources, the mother had been systematically killing her babies since 1988.

“It appears she had been hiding her pregnancies from her husband.”

Police said the first house belonged to the parents of the babies’ mother.

Eric Vaillant, public prosecutor, said: “We have found eight bodies of newborn babies in different locations in Villers-au Tertre.

“Two people, who are the parents of the children, are in custody.”

A detective working on the investigation said: “We searched the first premises and the garden following information received from the new owners.

“What is certain is that all the newborn babies found had the same parents.

“They were stuffed inside plastic bags and then buried or hidden.

“Our fear is that there are still more bodies to be discovered.”

Police said this morning that two dog handlers and five sniffer dogs were still working at both houses.

Daniel Collignon, the village’s former mayor, said: “I’m still in shock.”

Neighbours also reacted with astonishment to the news. One local man said: “They are normal people, who even have a role in the community. It’s incredible.”

Jean-Henri Martines, who lives in the village, said: “People are speechless at what has occurred.

“We all knew this couple. What has happened is unthinkable. No one knows how to react. We are in shock.”

Another neighbour in his 50s said: “These are attractive, helpful, polite and courteous people.

“They never did anything to suggest that they might be capable of abnormal behaviour.

“The husband was even elected to the town council,” he added.

The couple also have two grown-up daughters and were grandparents, said another local resident.

One teenage girl in the village said: “Their daughters are nice girls and the mother is a simple, quiet woman who wouldn’t hurt a fly.”

Earlier this year French mother Celine Lesage was jailed for 15 years after admitting to killing six of her newborn babies and hiding the bodies in her cellar.

Lesage, 38, has confessed to concealing the pregnancies, then giving birth alone before strangling two infants and suffocating four others.

She told the court that she could not explain why she had killed the babies.

Last June another Frenchwoman, Veronique Courjault, was sentenced to eight years in jail after admitting to killing three of her own babies, burning one corpse and hiding the others in the family freezer.
