Aval Peyar Tamilarasi Tamil Movie Review
The Story : Aval Peyar Tamilarasi tells a rare kind of a love story set in a village. Its boy meets girl as usual. The boy here is Jai while the girl is debutante Nandhagi.
They fall in love, but doubts and insecurities creep in when the girl is all set to leave her village to pursue higher education. What happens to their love story, how does the boy react to the imminent separation? That forms the crux of APT
The first sneak preview of Moserbaer and Blue Ocean’s , Meera Kathiravan directed Aval Peyar Tamilarasi (APT), was screened for four people and their friends at Four Frames preview theatre on Tuesday (Mar 2) afternoon.
The screening was for noted television critic and actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam. The others who were invited included Meera’s mentor Thangar Bachchan, noted directors Vasanth and Sasi.
After seeing the 2 hours 20 minutes film Thangar Bachchan went up to Meera Kathiravan and hugged him and told him- “ Nalla padam panni irukke, ithu oru kaviyam”.
Aval Peyar Tamilarasi is a novel love story with Jai in the lead. The movie has got clearance from the censor board with a U/A certificate. What made the APT team happy was that no cuts were recommended by the censor officials. The board was also appreciative of the efforts taken by the director and the producer for showcasing love in a novel and calm manner.
The film has music by Vijay Antony, camera by P G Muthiah, editing by Raja Mohamed, and art by Murthy.
APL stars Jai, Nandagi, Ganja Karuppu, Theodre Bhaskaran, Veera Santhanam and Rama among others.
The film is written and directed by newbie Meera Kathiravan and produced by Moser Baer & Blue Ocean Entertainment.
Being a love story the movie will be released for Valentine’s Day which is likely to be in the second week of February, 2010.
